01Set the height
The panel’s height behind the pillows is yours to decide, not the frame’s. Run it high to sit up and read against, or set it low so less of the panel shows above the mattress.
02Channeled gray
Gray velvet in vertical channels, edge to edge across the panel. The channels give the pile direction, which is what breaks the surface into soft stripes under a lamp.
03What holds it up
The slat kit does the box spring’s job, so the mattress goes straight onto the frame with nothing to buy underneath. The bed is rated to 800 lb.
04In your room
The gray stays neutral so the bedding can run warm: rust, camel, or ochre all sit easily against it. Keep the pillow stack low and let the channels show.

Vacuum weekly with the upholstery brush attachment, working in the direction of the nap. Blot spills immediately with a dry white cloth; rubbing crushes the pile. Lift pressure marks with a soft brush or gentle steam held at a distance. Re-tighten the slat kit and frame bolts after the first month of use.
