Who it suits
A pot filler earns its place when the range sits away from the sink. Water is the heavy part of a pasta night or a batch of stock, and this one lets you fill the pot on or near the burner, then fold the spout out of the way when you're done.
Because it mounts on the counter deck rather than the wall, it needs one 2.56″ hole in the counter beside the cooktop rather than plumbing in the wall. The Matte Black finish follows the vintage look of Kohler's Artifacts collection, which reworks older faucet shapes for the kitchen.
