Simple care habits that keep wood, upholstery, rugs, and finishes looking settled-in, not worn-out.
Care notes vary by material, and the product page is the first place to look. These basics cover most pieces:
- Wood and veneer - dust with a soft cloth. Avoid soaking, harsh chemicals, and direct long-term sun.
- Upholstery - vacuum with a soft brush. Blot spills quickly. Check the cleaning code on the product page before using water or solvent.
- Rugs - vacuum regularly. Rotate when you can so sun and foot traffic wear evenly. Follow any washable-rug instructions on the listing.
- Stone, metal, glass - use cleaners meant for that surface; avoid abrasives.
