• Water and capacity

  The 14 ft. x 42 in. round pool holds 3,440 gallons of water. Plan the pad and the hose time before assembly day, because filling a circle this size is the longest part of the first afternoon.

• Pump and filter

  The set ships with a 1,000-gallon filter pump and a Type III filter cartridge. Connect the pump once the wall is standing, then run the filter while people swim so the water stays clean.

• Getting in and out

  A pool ladder ships in the carton, and it is how you cross the 42 in. wall. Supervise children in the water at all times and never let anyone swim alone, whatever the fill line reads.

• Care and season end

  Put the cover on when nobody is swimming. At the end of the season a garden hose connects to the built-in flow control valve to drain the water quickly, then store the liner and frame dry.

• Steel frame and liner

  The steel frame uses ClickConnect joints that prevent metal-on-metal contact, reducing corrosion and rust. The reinforced 3-layer Tritech liner resists punctures, tears and stretching.
