• 25-second brew start

  The thermoblock heating system brings water to brewing temperature in approximately 25 seconds from cold. There is no warm-up delay on your morning routine. The machine enters low-power standby automatically and shuts off completely after nine minutes of non-use.

• Two cup heights, one machine

  The adjustable sliding cup support has two positions. Lower for a standard espresso cup that sits close to the spout, higher for a taller latte or Americano glass. Slide it into position before placing your vessel.

• Compact footprint

  At just over five inches wide and eleven inches tall, the Citiz occupies minimal counter space. The slim rectangular body slips between cabinets and fits neatly beside a toaster or microwave without crowding the workspace.

• Easy maintenance

  Rinse the removable drip tray after emptying spent grounds. The machine prompts you to descale when needed, typically every two to three months depending on water hardness. Run a rinse cycle with water only once a week to keep the internal lines clean.

• A one-liter water tank

  The removable rear-access water tank holds 34 oz., or 1 liter. Lift it out for filling, then slide it back in before brewing.

• What is included

  The CitiZ ships with the espresso machine, a 14-capsule Nespresso Original sampler, a water softener filter, a quick-start guide, and a warranty registration card. No grinder or milk frother is included.
