Set it on a firm, level pad, attach the heater pump, and fill from a garden hose. The pump inflates the wall, heats water from 50°F to 104°F, circulates filtration, and powers the jets; six Type S1 cartridges are included.

• A woodgrain soak

  The exterior is a grey woodgrain wrap around a pale rim, with two headrests and a wireless panel on top. One hundred seventy bubble jets line the floor, and a color LED sits in the water. The heater pump hangs on the side with the control buttons in reach of the rim.

• Setting up the spa

  Pick a level, firm patch of ground or patio, clear of sharp stones. No tools: clip the pump to the wall, plug it into a grounded outlet, and FastFill inflation brings the sides up. Then fill it with a garden hose. Set up is the short part; heating the water takes longer.

• Water and who fits

  The tub holds 290 gallons at fill and seats up to 6 people. Outer diameter is 85 inches, the inner soak is 65 inches, and the wall stands 28 inches tall. The pump housing extends on one side, so leave clear space beside the tub when you choose the pad.

• Pump and the filter

  One pump inflates the wall, heats the water, runs the filter, and drives the jets. Six Type S1 cartridges ship in the carton and are ready to swap into the filter housing. An electronic hard water treatment system sits in the flow to cut calcium buildup. Chlorine and a test kit stay extra.

• Safety around the water

  Supervise children any time they are in or near the tub, and never leave anyone soaking alone. Plug the pump straight into a grounded outlet; skip extension cords. Do not run it below 50 degrees, and keep the cover on when you step away so the water stays covered.

• Care through the seasons

  Wipe the liner after a soak and keep the insulated cover clipped on between uses so debris stays out and heat stays in. For winter, drain it, dry it, and store it indoors rather than leaving it filled outside. Clean the filter cartridge as it loads, and swap in one of the spares from the box.

• Built to hold water

  The wall is a puncture-resistant 3-ply laminated exterior over a liner packed with high-strength strands. That is what keeps 290 gallons from bowing the circle out of round on a patio. The cover claims up to 59 percent more energy hold than a thin lid, which is why it is a full skirt, not a loose cap.

  The carton ships with the inflatable spa, the heater pump, the insulated cover, 2 headrests, and 6 Type S1 filter cartridges. Not included: the water, a ground cloth, chemicals, or the grounded outdoor outlet. A garden hose is all you add on fill day.
