  The pine is left unfinished and worked over on purpose: wood scoring, rub-through, and small wormholes sit across the distressed ivory surface, so the grain reads old and lived in rather than new and glossy.

• Assembly at home

  Assembly is required, and the listing calls for two people to set the plank top onto the trestle legs. The tools ship in the box, so skip power tools and use the hand tools included instead.
