• Twelve-panel top, open metal base

  Twelve softly padded rectangular leather panels are arranged in four columns by three rows, with recessed stitched seams and rounded piping around the box edge. Below it, black square-tube metal braces cross in an X on each end rather than forming a solid upholstered base, so light and floor show through underneath.

• No assembly, ready to use

  There is no assembly at all: it ships fully built and ready to set down where you want it. Nothing to attach and no tools needed, just unbox it and place it under your feet or next to a chair.

• Vacuum only, skip the water

  Clean the leather with a vacuum brush attachment or a light dry brushing to lift dust from the grain, and keep water and solvent cleaners off it entirely. A dry microfiber cloth handles light surface dust between deeper cleanings.

• A footrest, not a lounge seat

  This is a footrest and occasional perch, not a deep lounge cushion: the top is MDF with a thin foam layer over it, so it stays firm underfoot rather than sinking like a sofa seat. At 18.5 inches tall it sits about chair height, useful as an extra seat for a few minutes or a spot to rest a tray.

  Under the leather, the frame is manufactured wood topped with MDF and a foam layer at 1.5 pounds per cubic foot density, rated to hold 275 pounds. The metal legs carry that load down to the floor rather than the wood touching the ground directly.

• Top grain leather, natural grain

  The cover is genuine top grain leather in a saddle tan color, left to show its natural grain and light distressing rather than being sanded to a uniform finish. It is a different material from a woven fabric cover entirely, so care is brushing and vacuuming rather than a fabric-safe spray cleaner, and color varies some from hide to hide.

• One ottoman, fully built
