• Six-button tufted back

  Two rows of three fabric-covered buttons indent each wide back into a soft biscuit tuft. Subtle wing panels flare at the top corners; the seat cushion underneath stays plain.

• Gray linen-blend weave

  The upholstery is a heathered gray linen blend with a visible flat weave, not a print. Under natural light it reads cool gray; warm lamps pull it slightly warmer.

• Dark splayed wood legs

  Four tapered solid-wood legs in a dark espresso finish splay outward on each chair. Leg height is about 9.4 inches, so the seat clears most low rugs.

• Firm single seat

  Seat height is about 19.2 inches, seat width about 20 inches, and seat depth about 21.2 inches, with roughly 17.7 inches of back above the cushion. Foam over sinuous springs keeps the sit firm.
