The Bestway Steel Pro Max Prismatic Stone set is a round above-ground pool measuring 180 inches across and 48 inches high, with a gray exterior soft wall on a corrosion-resistant steel frame.

Inside, a blue Prismatic Stone print covers the wall above the floor, so the filled pool shows a pebble mosaic under the waterline rather than a plain blue sheet.

At 90% fill the pool holds up to 4,231 gallons. Allow clear working room around the round steel frame and ladder on level ground before you build.

A cartridge filter pump with a Type III cartridge circulates water through the wall fittings. A flow-control valve with a garden-hose adapter drains the pool when the season ends.

Assembly is required at home with no tools. The set includes the pool, pump, cartridge, four-step ladder, cover, and repair patch. People, water staging, and landscaping in photos are not included.

The liner is three-layer PVC and polyester mesh with a support band on the steel frame and quick-click connectors. Keep children away from standing water unless an adult is supervising the whole time anyone is near the pool.

• Setting it up

  Choose a level, cleared spot for the full 15 foot footprint, grass, dirt, or a paver patio all work, but clear away roots, sharp stones, or sticks first since anything hard under the liner will eventually work through. It is DIY assembly with no tools: the steel frame clicks into place, the liner hangs from the top rail, and the hose and filter pump connect last, right before filling.

• Water and capacity

  Filled to the working line, this pool sits inside a 15 foot circle with a 48 inch wall. That extra depth compared to a shallow starter pool means adults get real water over the shoulders, not just splashing at the knees. Fill time with a garden hose runs longer than assembly does, so start it early.

• Pump and filtration

  The included filter pump draws water through a pleated Type III-A/C cartridge that traps debris before sending clean water back into the pool. Two hose fittings connect the pump to the wall, and the same built-in flow control valve doubles as the drain connection when the season ends. The pump filters and circulates; balancing chlorine and pH is still done by hand.

• Safety around the water

  At 48 inches this wall is taller than most backyard pools, but standing water this deep is still a real drowning risk for young children, so an adult should watch anytime anyone is near it. Take the ladder off or turn its steps away from the pool whenever it sits unattended, since a step at the wall turns a tall side into easy access. Keep the cover secured between swims.

• Care through the season

  Run the pump daily through swim season and rinse the cartridge whenever the flow drops, since a clogged filter is the most common reason water turns cloudy. Keep the cover on between uses to block leaves and cut down on how often you balance chemicals. To close up for the year, open the flow control valve to drain it, let the liner dry, then fold the frame away.

• Steel frame, layered liner

  The frame is corrosion-resistant steel, and the connectors click into place at each joint to cut down on metal rubbing against metal, which is usually where rust gets started. The DuraPlus liner is three layers, a polyester mesh core between two sheets of PVC, with a support band reinforcing the wall for added stability. Together they are built to hold their shape through repeated seasons, not just one summer.
