Details

The Kohler Linear Grid Shower Drain Grate in Matte Black has a precision-machined lattice pattern and a clean, minimalist linear shape. It sits in the drain channel of a contemporary shower.

The lightweight grate insert is field-trimmable to fit the showering space and has an anodized, scratch-resistant finish. Thread-in, rubber-capped feet hold it in place and adjust in height from the top of the grate. It requires the K-80646 Kohler linear drain channel, which is a separate part.

  • Matte Black finish

The grate carries the Matte Black finish, an anodized, scratch-resistant surface on a metal insert. The dark tone gives the linear drain a quiet, minimalist look in a contemporary shower.

  • Lattice grate pattern

A precision-machined lattice pattern gives the rigid grate a clean, even look along the drain. Other patterns, finishes and sizes are available in the range to suit a custom shower.

  • Field-trimmable insert

The insert can be trimmed in the field, so it fits the showering space instead of a fixed length. It is lightweight and easy to handle during installation and throughout the product's life.

  • Adjustable feet

Thread-in feet with rubber caps hold the grate securely in the drain channel. The feet are height-adjustable and reachable through the top of the grate, for a faster, more precise installation.

  • What ships

The universal hardware kit supplies mounting feet in two lengths, a lift key and KOHLER-branded grate end caps. The drain channel is a separate part and is not part of this grate.

  • Fit and compatibility

This grate requires the K-80646 Kohler linear drain channel and is made for use in a shower. Refer to the Spec Sheets for required and compatible parts to complete installation.

  • Where it fits

The grate is made for showers and suits a custom home or a commercial shower installation. Its part number is K-80653-BL, in the Matte Black finish.
