The fixture holds fifteen candelabra bulbs behind six tiers of K9 crystal, 29.5 inches across. Light hits the crystals and fills the room as a wash, not a single lamp over the table.

• A gold drum, crystal cascade

  The fixture pairs a round gold drum, banded in two rows of faceted crystal blocks, with six tiers of clear crystal rods that step down to a single point below it. The shape reads full and layered from every angle, not just from underneath.

• The light it throws

  Lit, the ring of bulbs glows warm behind the crystal blocks around the drum, while the cascading tiers below catch and scatter that light into small glints rather than one bright downlight. Expect an ambient wash over a table, not a reading light.

• Bulbs, wattage and dimming

  Fifteen sockets take E12 candelabra bulbs, 40 watts max, and none are included, so plan on buying fifteen candelabra bulbs to fill it. The fixture is dimmable, but that only works if you also add a dimmable bulb and wire it to a compatible dimmer switch, both sold separately.

• Everyday cleaning and care

  Wipe the crystal tiers and gold drum with a soft, dry cloth to clear dust and keep the faceted edges sparkling. Skip household glass cleaner on the metal frame, and dust each crystal rod by hand when you do a deeper clean.

• Hangs from an adjustable chain

  It hangs from a 39 inch chain at a round canopy, not a solid rod, so you can shorten the chain to set your own hang height up to 42.5 inches overall. The canopy kit is sloped-ceiling compatible if your dining room ceiling angles.

• Hardwired, two person mount

  This is a hardwired fixture, not a plug in lamp, so it wires into a ceiling junction box behind the canopy. Have an electrician make the connections, then plan on two people to lift and mount it, since the assembled fixture weighs 33 pounds.

• Dry rated, indoor use

  This fixture is dry-rated and UL listed for indoor use only, not damp or wet rated, so keep it in a dining room, foyer, or living room away from steam or open water. Skip a bathroom, covered porch, or anywhere it could get wet.

• What arrives in the box

  The gold drum, crystal tiers, canopy, and chain all arrive already assembled and connected, along with the sloped-ceiling hardware. Bulbs are not included, so budget for fifteen E12 candelabra bulbs, and a dimmer switch if you want the dimming feature to work.
