• Antique nickel and glass

  A circular metal backplate and horizontal bar carry an antique-nickel finish. Clear double-prismatic glass cylinders wrap each socket, so the glow softens at the edge while the metal stays warm against tile or paint.

• Damp-rated for the bath

  The listing is UL-CUL damp-rated for a bathroom outside the shower spray. It is not a wet-location fixture, so keep it clear of direct water.

• Bulbs and dimming

  Use four medium-base (E26) bulbs up to 100 watts each; LED, CFL, or incandescent all fit. Bulbs are not in the box. The fixture is dimmable when you pair dimmable bulbs with a compatible dimmer switch; both are extras.

• Hang height and aim

  Center the bar over the vanity and set height against the mirror before you mark holes. Each shade can face up or down: aim up to wash the ceiling, or down to light the mirror. Set the direction before you tighten the socket collars.

• Hardwired to a wall box

  This is a hardwired vanity light, not a plug-in. It mounts to a wall junction box behind the circular backplate. A screwdriver handles the bracket; have an electrician make the connections if you are not comfortable working in a junction box.

• Care for metal and glass

  Dust with a soft dry cloth. Wipe glass with a mild glass cleaner on a microfiber cloth and keep liquid off the sockets. Avoid abrasive pads on the antique-nickel finish.

• What ships in the box

  You get the vanity bar, the four glass shades, the mounting hardware for a wall box, and the instructions. Bulbs, a dimmer, and an electrician are not included.
