• Nine candle lights, two tiers

  Nine arms curve out from a central column in two stacked tiers, the lower ring reaching wide and low, the upper ring shorter and higher. Each arm ends in a slim candle sleeve, so light arrives as nine separate points spread across the room rather than one bright source overhead.

• Dark bronze, no shades

  The frame is a deep bronze that reads close to black against a pale wall. A ribbed band wraps the center column, and a small drip cup sits under every candle sleeve. Nothing covers the bulbs, so the shape of the bulb you pick is part of the look.

• Chain hung and adjustable

  It hangs from a chain off a round ceiling canopy, not a rigid rod. A 3 foot chain and 10 foot wire come in the box, and the hanging length adjusts up to 120 inches overall, so it can sit low over a round table or high in a stairwell. The chain also lets it hang level under a sloped ceiling.

• Hardwired to a ceiling box

  This is a hardwired fixture, not a plug-in one. The wire runs to a ceiling junction box and the round canopy covers the connection. Have an electrician handle the wiring at 120 volts, and check that the box is rated to carry the weight of a nine-arm fixture before you mount it.

• Nine candelabra bulbs

  Every sleeve takes an E12 candelabra base bulb in a candle shape, 60 watts maximum, and you need nine of them. Bulbs are not included, so buy them with the fixture. Clear glass shows the filament through the open sleeves; a frosted bulb softens the glare if the chandelier sits near eye level over a table.

• Dimming takes two parts

  The fixture is dimmable, but that only works if two other things are in place: a bulb marked dimmable, and a dimmer switch compatible with the bulbs you chose. Neither is included. On a plain on-off switch it still lights normally, it just runs at full output.

• Damp-rated, not wet-rated

  A damp rating covers spots that get humid but never get hit directly by water: a covered porch, a screened entry, a bathroom well clear of the shower. It is not wet-rated, so skip open eaves, uncovered patios, and anywhere rain or spray can reach the sockets.

• What ships in the box

  In the box: the chandelier body with its nine arms and candle sleeves, the round ceiling canopy, a 3 foot chain, and a 10 foot wire for setting the hanging length. Bulbs are not included, and no dimmer switch comes with it, so plan on buying nine E12 bulbs and, if you want dimming, a compatible dimmer.

• Cleaning and re-lamping

  Cut the power, let the bulbs cool, then wipe the arms and drip cups with a soft dry cloth. Dust settles fast on the open sleeves because nothing shades them. Skip sprays and liquid cleaners on the bronze finish, and check each candle sleeve still sits upright whenever you change a bulb.
