The fixture holds seventeen candelabra bulbs behind six cascading tiers of crystal, 31.6 inches across. Light hits the crystal rods and spreads through the room instead of glowing from one point.

• Black band, cascading crystal

  A black metal band lined with vertical gold-tipped flutes forms an open, fence-like border at the top, and six tiers of clear cut crystal cascade beneath it down to a single point. Each tier steps in narrower than the one above, giving the piece a full, layered shape.

• The light it throws

  Seventeen bulbs sit tucked behind the crystal tiers, so the fixture glows as one bright, faceted mass rather than as separate points, and the black band above stays dark while the crystal below does all the work. Expect a dressy, concentrated glow best centered low over a table.

• Seventeen E12 bulbs, not included

  Seventeen sockets take E12 candelabra bulbs, 40 watts max, and none ship with the fixture, so plan on a full set before it goes up. It pairs with a dimmer switch, but only once you add a dimmable bulb and wire the circuit to that separate switch, both extra.

• Cleaning six tiers of crystal

  Wipe each crystal tier and the black metal band with a soft, dry cloth, working top to bottom so dust from an upper tier does not fall onto the one below. Skip household glass cleaner on the black finish, since it can dull the coating over time.

• Chain hung, height adjustable

  It hangs from a 39.37 inch chain at a round canopy, not a fixed rod, so an installer can shorten it to set the drop over a table, up to 61 inches overall. A sloped ceiling adapter ships with it for an angled ceiling.

• Hardwired, two person install

  This is a hardwired fixture, not a plug in lamp, so it wires into a ceiling junction box and needs an electrician to make the connections. Plan on two people for mounting and assembly, since the fixture weighs 24 pounds and the crystal tiers extend wide once it is up.

• Dry rated, UL listed

  This fixture is dry-rated and UL listed for indoor use only, not damp or wet rated, so keep it in a dining room, foyer, or living room away from moisture. Skip a bathroom, covered porch, or anywhere near steam or standing water.

• What ships in the box

  The black and gold band, all six crystal tiers, chain, canopy, and sloped ceiling adapter all ship in the box, already assembled into tiers. The package also includes twenty spare crystal rods in case one chips. Bulbs are not included, so budget for seventeen E12 candelabra bulbs.
