Six lights sit in two stacked rope drums, 24 inches across. Hardwired, chain-hung, and dry-rated, it takes standard A19 bulbs and works on a sloped ceiling.

The shade is two beige rope drums stacked, 23.8 inches across and 13.7 inches tall as a pair. Six bulbs sit behind the weave, so the room gets a wash rather than a cluster of bare lamps.

• Two-tier rope drum shade

  Two tiered drums stack one on top of the other, the lower tier set in narrower than the upper, each wrapped edge to edge in tightly wound beige rope, with a satin brass ring running along the very top. Stacking the tiers gives the shade real depth and height rather than a single flat drum.

• Even, filtered glow

  The six bulbs sit hidden behind the woven rope rather than exposed, so the light comes through as a soft, even wash across the weave instead of individual points. It brightens a dining table or a dim corner of a room without glare from a bare bulb.

• Hardwired ceiling mount

  This chandelier is hardwired, not plug-in, so it wires into a ceiling junction box and an electrician should make the connections. Assembly is required for the mount and chain, and it works on both a flat ceiling and a sloped one.

• Sixty-inch chain, adjustable

  It hangs from a satin brass chain rather than a rod, and 60 inches of chain ships with it, so you can trim the length to suit the room. Maximum overall height reaches 77 inches from the ceiling, tall enough for a two-story foyer as well as a standard dining room.

• Six A19 bulbs

  Each of the six sockets takes a standard E26 medium-base bulb, sized A19, up to 40 watts, and none are included, so plan on a full set of six. The fixture is dimmable, but only when paired with dimmable bulbs, and a compatible dimmer switch is a separate purchase too.

• Dry rated, indoor rooms

  This fixture is rated for dry locations, so keep it inside a normal room rather than a bathroom, a covered porch, or anywhere near steam or splashing water. It is hardwired at 110 volts, and a dry rating does not carry over to a damp or wet space.

• Caring for the rope shade

  Dust the woven rope tiers with a soft brush or the brush attachment on a vacuum, working in the direction of the wrap so you do not loosen individual strands. Wipe the satin brass rim and chain with a dry cloth, and skip water or cleaners directly on the rope.

• What ships in the box

  This chandelier arrives with both rope tiers, the iron frame, canopy, and chain included, ready for assembly rather than fully built. Bulbs are not included, so plan on six E26 A19 bulbs, and add a compatible dimmer switch separately if you want to dim the light.
