Five candelabra sockets sit on slim brass arms that sweep low and wide, 42 inches across. Each arm carries its own bobeche, so the fixture reads as a classic candlelit spread.

• Five arms, open and wide

  Five slender brass arms curve up and out from a center column, each ending in a shallow bobeche and a candelabra socket, so the fixture reads like an old-style candle ring rather than a shaded chandelier. The spread is 42 inches wide and 42 inches deep, with the arm cluster itself standing 7 inches tall.

• A soft, ambient glow

  The light direction is ambient: a soft, room-filling glow rather than a focused downlight, so pair it with a floor lamp or recessed cans for reading light nearby.

• Hardwired to a junction box

  This is a hardwired fixture, not a plug-in lamp: the canopy wires directly into a ceiling junction box, so plan on an electrician for the connection if you are not comfortable working with house wiring. The canopy is sloped-ceiling compatible, so it mounts cleanly on either a flat or an angled ceiling.

• Stack the hang height

  The downrod ships in four 12-inch sections and one 6-inch section, so you can combine them for up to 54 inches of suspension length depending on your ceiling. Fully assembled, the fixture can hang as low as its 7-inch body alone or extend to an overall maximum height of 61 inches, so it is easy to set correctly over a dining table.

• Candelabra bulbs, not included

  Each of the five sockets takes a standard E12 candelabra-base bulb, sized C11 candle shape, up to 60 watts. Bulbs are not included. The fixture is dimmable, but that only works if you add a dimmable bulb and wire it to a compatible dimmer switch, both sold separately.

• Dry rated, indoors only

  This fixture is rated for dry locations only, meaning enclosed indoor rooms with no moisture in the air. Skip a bathroom, an uncovered porch, or anywhere near a shower or tub. Dry-rated is the most limited of the three ratings, well short of a damp or wet rating.

• Cleaning the brass finish

  Dust the brass-finished arms and bobeches with a soft, dry cloth to keep the metal from dulling with fingerprints. Skip household glass or metal cleaners, which can strip the finish, and always turn off power at the switch before wiping near the sockets.

• What is in the box

  The canopy, center column, five curved arms, and downrod sections come in the box, with all mounting hardware included, ready to wire to your junction box. Bulbs are not included, so plan on five E12 candelabra bulbs, and a dimmer switch if you want to dim the light.
