• Twenty lights, three tiers

  Twenty candlestick arms stack across three tiers, the lowest the widest and the top the shortest. Each arm ends in an open candle cup with a bare bulb above it, so the light spreads across the whole frame instead of gathering at one bright point.

• Bare candle-style bulbs

  Every socket takes a candelabra bulb, 60 watts max, and bulbs are not included. Candle-shaped lamps suit the design best. Because nothing shades them, the bulbs are on show, so pick a warm filament lamp you are happy to look at.

• Dimming needs two parts

  The fixture works with a dimmer switch, but the switch is not included and neither are dimmable bulbs. You need both for a low glow: a compatible dimmer at the wall and dimmable lamps in all twenty sockets.

• Hardwired by an electrician

  This is a hardwired fixture, not a plug-in lamp, so it wires into a ceiling junction box behind the canopy. Professional installation by an electrician is recommended, and sensible: it is a wide, heavy piece with twenty arms to align.

• Ships fully disassembled

  It arrives fully disassembled so the thin arms travel safely. Every tier, arm and candle cup is in the box and goes together on site. Bulbs and a dimmer switch are not included, so order twenty candelabra lamps before install day.

• Set the hang height

  The chain is height-adjustable and reaches up to 90 inches, so you can drop it over a dining table or lift it into a stairwell or vaulted entry. The canopy is sloped-ceiling compatible, so an angled ceiling is fine.

• Dry-rated, indoor only

  This one is dry-rated, not damp-rated: it belongs in a living room, dining room, entry or stairwell. Keep it out of a bathroom with a running shower, a covered porch, or anywhere it would meet steam or wet air.

• Dusting and everyday care

  The open frame has no shades to trap dust, so care is quick. Wipe the arms and candle cups with a soft, dry cloth, and clean around each socket when you change a bulb. Skip liquid sprays on the black finish.
