The fixture holds six candelabra bulbs behind a white linen-blend drum, 21 inches across, set in a nickel lattice ring. Light comes through the shade as a soft wash, so the room reads lit without a cluster of bare lamps in view.

• A cutout lattice drum

  A wide drum shade wraps a cutout metal lattice around a plain white fabric liner, so the pattern casts shapes on the wall when it is lit. The shade measures 21 inches wide and 6.5 inches tall, sitting over a body that spans 24 inches wide and 18 inches tall including the arms below it.

• One tier, up and down

  All six candelabra bulbs sit in one tier at the base of the drum, not stacked in multiple rings, each on its own curved arm with the bulb itself hidden up inside the shade. A built-in 3-way switch lets you choose uplight, downlight, or both, so you can shift from a soft wash on the ceiling to direct light on the table.

• Hardwired, with a few tools

  This is a hardwired fixture, not a plug-in lamp, so an electrician needs to connect it to your ceiling junction box. Plan on a power drill, a screwdriver, a utility knife, and pliers for assembly, since none of those tools come in the box. It is also sloped-ceiling compatible.

• Rod or wire, your choice

  Three rigid downrod sections, 6, 12, and 18 inches, stack together and combine with the fixture body for an overall maximum height of 54 inches. For a taller ceiling, swap the rod for the included 10 feet of wire instead, which trims to whatever length you need.

• Candelabra bulbs, not included

  Each of the six sockets takes a standard E12 candelabra-base bulb, B10 candle shape, up to 50 watts, and none are included, so plan on six before you turn it on. It is dimmable, but only with a dimmable bulb in every socket and a compatible dimmer switch, both sold separately.

• Damp rated, not wet rated

  This fixture is damp-rated, so it can hang in a bathroom outside the direct shower spray or under a covered porch, a step up from a dry-only rating. It is ETL and cETL listed, but damp-rated is still short of a wet-location fixture, so keep it away from open water or direct rain.

• Cleaning the lattice and shade

  Dust the metal lattice with a soft, dry cloth or a brush attachment to reach the cutout pattern, and spot clean the white fabric liner rather than soaking it. Skip household glass or metal cleaners on the finish, and always cut power at the switch before wiping near a bulb.

• What is in the box

  The drum shade, canopy, three downrod sections, and 10 feet of wire all come in the box, along with the mounting hardware for your ceiling. Bulbs are not included, and neither are the tools: plan on your own drill, screwdriver, utility knife, and pliers for assembly.
