• Hand-rippled water glass drum

  Six curved panels of hand-rippled water glass wrap a black iron frame to form a wide, shallow drum. The glass is clear, so the five candelabra bulbs show right through it, breaking into small, uneven ripples of light rather than one flat glow, with black metal edging every seam.

• Angled rods brace the shade

  Three angled rods run from the chain down to the drum's rim, bracing the frame while a central stem carries the wiring to the bulbs in the middle. The open framework keeps the fixture looking airy rather than closed in, even with six glass panels wrapped around it.

• Chain sets the hang height

  A 59-inch chain runs from the canopy down to the shade, and its length sets how high the fixture hangs, up to 86.6 inches overall from ceiling to the bottom of the drum. It is rated for a sloped ceiling, so an angled dining room or stairwell ceiling still works.

• Hardwired to a junction box

  This fixture is hardwired, not plug-in, so it wires directly to a ceiling junction box rather than a wall outlet. Plan on a licensed electrician for the mount and wiring, especially if the existing box is not rated to carry the fixture's weight.

• Dry locations only

  The fixture is ETL listed for dry locations and runs on standard 120 volt house current once wired in. It is not rated for a bathroom, covered porch, or any other damp or wet space, indoors or out, so keep it to dry rooms only.

• Five E12 candelabra bulbs

  Five sockets take E12 candelabra bulbs, 40 watts max each, and none are included in the box. Choose dimmable bulbs and pair them with a compatible dimmer switch if you want to lower the glow, since the fixture ships without either one.

• What ships in the box

  The chain, canopy, mounting hardware, and the black iron frame with its six glass panels all ship assembled or ready to hang. Bulbs are not included, so pick up five E12 candelabra bulbs, dimmable or not, before the electrician wires it in.

• Care and cleaning

  Wipe the rippled glass panels and black iron frame with a soft, dry cloth to clear everyday dust. A lightly damp cloth works for fingerprints if you dry the metal right after. Skip glass cleaner sprays, which can streak the ripple texture and dull the black finish over time.
