• One glass shade

  A single clear glass shade tapers from a narrow brass neck to a wide rounded body, 12 inches across and 15 inches tall. The cool brass socket sits on a short sleeve inside the glass, so you see the bulb and the vase shape, not a covered drum.

• The light it throws

  The glass is clear, so the bulb stays in view and throws a warm glow onto the table rather than a shaded wash. Sold as one pendant. Hang two or three in a row over an island if you want even light across a longer surface.

• Hardwired ceiling mount

  This is a hardwired 120 volt fixture, not a plug-in. You mount the canopy to a ceiling junction box and wire it in. Assembly takes a screwdriver. If you have not wired a ceiling box before, hire an electrician.

• Hang it your height

  It hangs from a rod, not a chain. One 6-inch and three 12-inch downrods ship with it, so overall hang height runs from 18 to 60 inches. It is sloped-ceiling compatible, so a vaulted room is fine.

• Bulbs and dimming

  The socket is a standard E26 medium base for one A19-style bulb, 60 watts max. The bulb is not included. It is dimmable if you use a dimmable bulb and a dimmer switch. Both are extra.

• Dry-rated indoor use

  The fixture is dry-rated for indoor rooms that stay dry, and it is ETL and cETL listed. It is not damp-rated or wet-rated, so keep it out of a shower, a steamy bath, a covered porch, or rain.

• Wipe the glass

  Wipe the clear glass with a dry cloth when it shows fingerprints or dust. Dust the brass rod and canopy the same way. Do not soak the shade or use a harsh cleaner on the metal finish.

• What ships

  The box ships with one pendant: the glass shade, a 5-inch canopy, one 6-inch downrod, and three 12-inch downrods. The bulb is not included. A limited warranty is included.
