• Open lantern cage

  A brushed nickel steel frame forms a 16-inch-wide lantern drum with X-brace panels and arched top arms. The open geometry keeps sightlines clear over a table while still giving the fixture a clear silhouette.

• Chain hang height

  It hangs from a matching chain, not a rod. Forty-eight inches of chain ship with it, and overall hang height can reach 65.69 inches, so you can set it over a table or in a taller foyer.

• Standard A19 bulbs

  Each socket is an E26 medium base for a standard A19 bulb, 100 watts max. Bulbs are not in the box. Put dimmable lamps in it if you want the fixture on a dimmer switch.

• Hardwired install

  This is a hardwired fixture, not a plug-in, so it wires into a ceiling junction box behind the round canopy. Some assembly is expected; have an electrician make the connections if you are not comfortable working in a junction box.

• Dry indoor rooms

  The listing is dry-rated for indoor rooms kept free of moisture. It is not damp-rated or wet-rated, so keep it out of baths with steam and off covered porches that see weather.

• What arrives

  The steel lantern cage, three frosted glass shades, canopy, chain, and mounting hardware ship together. Bulbs and a dimmer are not included, so order three A19 lamps before install day.

• Care and dusting

  Dust the brushed nickel cage with a soft dry cloth and wipe the frosted glass shades with a lightly damp cloth, then dry them. Skip abrasive cleaners and sprays that leave a film on the metal or glass.
