• Seeded schoolhouse shade

• Brushed nickel hardware

  Canopy, downrod, and socket share a brushed nickel finish that reads clean against the seeded glass. The hang is a rigid rod, not a chain, so the line stays straight from the ceiling plate into the shade neck.

• Hardwired installation

  This pendant is hardwired into a ceiling junction box, not a plug-in cord, so plan on an electrician for the connections. Assembly is required to join the canopy, rod sections, and shade, and it can mount on a sloped ceiling with the right adapter for your pitch.

• Hang height with rods

  Two 6 inch and two 12 inch threaded stems ship with the fixture and screw together so you can set the drop over a table, island, or entry. Minimum hang height is about 22.13 inches; maximum hangs just over 54.25 inches when every section is used.

• One E26 bulb

  The single socket takes a standard E26 medium-base bulb up to 100 watts, and the bulb is not included. Use a dimmable bulb plus a compatible wall dimmer if you want to soften the light for evenings; neither ships in the box.

• Indoor safety listing

  The fixture is UL and CSA listed for indoor use and runs on standard 120 volt household power. Keep it in dry interior rooms rather than a wet outdoor spot or a steamy bath, and have a licensed electrician confirm the junction box can carry the hang weight.

• Cleaning glass and metal

  Dust the seeded glass with a soft dry cloth, or use a glass cleaner made for glass when fingerprints show. Wipe the brushed nickel canopy and rod with a dry cloth as well, and skip abrasive pads that can scratch both the glass seeds and the metal finish.

• What ships in the box

  You get the seeded glass shade, brushed nickel canopy, the threaded 6 inch and 12 inch rod sections, and mounting hardware for a hardwired ceiling install. A bulb is not included, so buy one E26 lamp separately, and add a dimmer switch only if you want dimming.
