Details

The Delta MultiChoice® Universal Tub/Shower Rough PEX Crimp in Bronze/Black is a wall mounted rough-in valve with a compact body, 4 inches high by 4 inches wide by 2.13 inches deep. It ships as a single piece in a Bronze/Black finish.

It accepts a single-function, dual-function or dual-function thermostatic cartridge, so one valve body can serve several shower setups. Back-to-back capability is included, along with a safety stop. Inlet, outlet and connection sizes are each 0.5 inches.

  • Cartridge choices

The valve body accepts a single-function, dual-function or dual-function thermostatic cartridge. That lets one rough-in serve a basic shower or a setup that is built to hold temperature.

  • Back-to-back capability

Back-to-back capability is built into this valve, which suits layouts where showers sit on opposite sides of a shared wall. It is a Universal Tub/Shower valve.

  • Wall mounting and PEX crimp

This is a wall mounted rough-in valve with a PEX crimp connection, as the product name says. The body is 4 inches high, 4 inches wide and 2.13 inches deep.

  • Metal and Bronze/Black finish

The valve is made of metal and comes in a Bronze/Black finish. The finish suits trim in a matching tone, while the body itself sits behind the wall as a rough-in.

  • Half-inch connections

Inlet diameter, outlet diameter and connection size each measure 0.5 inches, so the water path is the same size at every port on the valve body.

  • Safety Stop

Safety Stop is the safety feature built into this valve, so it comes as part of the valve body rather than as something to add later on.

  • What ships

The shipment is one piece, the rough-in valve itself, and it weighs 1.48 lb. A cartridge matched to your preferred control type completes the setup.
