Details

A polished chrome 3/4-inch thermostatic shower trim with solid brass construction, temperature-only control, and compatibility with the 1005N rough valve.

  • Installation planning

Plan the installation around a prepared shower wall and a compatible thermostatic rough valve. The 1005N rough valve must be ordered separately to complete the installation, so confirm connections and placement with a qualified plumber.

  • Fit and compatibility

This 3/4-inch trim is compatible with the 1005N thermostatic rough valve. Check the one-hole configuration, plumbing connections, available wall space, and rough-in alignment before ordering.

  • Water flow

The compatible 1005N valve supports 12 GPM flow. That figure belongs to the rough valve compatibility, while this trim supplies the visible temperature control at the finished wall.

  • Controls and temperature

This is temperature control only and does not include a volume control. Use the trim with its compatible thermostatic valve, and add the matching volume-control trim and R1040R rough-in valve when separate volume adjustment is needed.

  • Material and finish

Solid brass construction gives the trim a substantial foundation, while the Polished Chrome finish brings a bright, reflective look to the shower wall. Match the finish with surrounding fixtures before ordering.

  • Care and documentation

Keep the finished surface looking clear by following the manufacturer's care instructions for polished chrome. Use the installation documentation for the valve and trim, and avoid treating this temperature control as a volume control.

  • What ships

One trim piece is included. The 1005N thermostatic rough valve is not included and must be ordered separately. Matching volume-control trim and R1040R rough-in valve are also separate items.

  • Dimensions

The trim measures 6.31 inches high, 6.31 inches wide, and 3.94 inches deep, and weighs 2 pounds.

Good to know

  • The 3/4-inch, one-hole trim requires the 1005N thermostatic rough valve for installation.
  • Confirm 1005N fit, rough-in alignment, connections, and wall space.
  • Matching volume-control trim and the R1040R rough-in valve are separate items.
