Tessmar Kvannoyri Solid Wood Bench

A 47 inch solid rubberwood entryway bench with a contoured oak seat, antique black turned-leg base, and a 500 pound rating for two to three people.

The seat, apron, and turned legs are solid rubberwood, not a veneer over particle board. The oak-toned seat shows open grain while the base takes an antique black finish with purposeful wood scoring.

• Contoured seat, turned legs

The seat is gently scooped for everyday sitting, and four turned legs with a connecting stretcher give the bench a traditional silhouette that still reads clean in a modern entry.

• Sized for an entry or dining table

Overall it runs about 47.2 inches wide, 14.2 inches deep, and 18.5 inches high, with the same 18.5 inch floor-to-seat height. That length seats two people comfortably and can take a third for brief entryway use.

• 500 pound rating

The weight capacity is 500 pounds across the seat, so bags, boots, and a couple of adults are within the intended load.

• Oak seat over antique black base

This listing is the Oak / Antique Black colorway: a natural oak-toned seat over a black base. Other finishes are separate SKUs and are not what ships here.

• Assembly at home

The bench arrives as parts for one-person assembly with the included tools. Spot-clean the wood with a dry cloth and skip abrasive cleaners.

• One piece through the door

Once assembled it is a rigid 47 inch bench. Measure doorways and hallway turns before delivery if you plan to move it between rooms.

• Ground delivery

Ships by ground parcel, not freight or white-glove. No in-home setup is included; assembly and placement stay with you once the carton arrives.

Good to know

• Tape a 47 by 14 inch footprint for the floor space this bench needs.
• Seat height is 18.5 inches, about chair-seat height for tying shoes.
• At about 36 pounds it is one assembled piece after a short one-person build.
