The back is a single tufted panel in a diamond pattern, fixed rather than loose, with a tight back and a multiple-cushion seat for a classic Chesterfield silhouette.

• Rolled arms, diamond tufting

  The back is tufted in a deep diamond pattern from one end to the other, with rolled arms rising to the same height as the back, wrapped in the same gray velvet. A row of buttons runs along the base rail below the three loose seat cushions, and nailhead trim traces the front edge of each arm.

• Low profile, 80 inches wide

  The whole frame sits low and wide rather than tall, at 80 inches across and just 30 inches high, so it reads more traditional than a modern track-arm sofa. Short, turned rubberwood legs in a black finish lift it barely off the floor, keeping the silhouette grounded.

• Legs attach, rest arrives built

At 126 pounds it takes two people to carry comfortably, and it arrives as one piece rather than sections that bolt together.

• Wood frame, coil and foam

  The frame combines solid wood with manufactured wood, set on solid rubberwood legs in a black finish. Inside, coil springs carry the seat load and high-density foam sits on top for the fill, so the give comes from both layers rather than foam alone.

• Gray velvet, removable covers

  Upholstery is a gray velvet with a smooth, soft nap, tufted into the diamond back and wrapped around the rolled arms without a seam break. The three seat cushion covers are removable, so the fabric on the seat can be treated separately from the fixed back and arms.

• One sofa, legs and hardware

  What arrives is the sofa body with the legs and their mounting hardware included, ready to attach at home; there is no separate ottoman or extra pillow included in the box. It seats three people at once, up to the full 750 pound rating.
