The Moen Smart Shower 2-Outlet Digital Shower Controller in Matte Black is a slim wall-mounted panel with a non-touch LCD and large, soft buttons. It is the in-shower controller for a Smart Shower and works with a thermostatic shower valve.

Run the shower by voice through a smart speaker, with the Moen Plus App, or with the buttons. The two-outlet controller connects two shower fixtures, such as a showerhead and a hand shower, and the warm-up and pause feature saves water. The Smart Shower two-outlet thermostatic digital valve is required and sold separately.

  • Controls and temperature

    Large, soft buttons make the Moen Smart Shower controller easy to operate, even with wet and soapy hands. The non-touch LCD gives feedback on shower status through on-screen messaging and notifications.

  • Start it from the app

    Sync the shower to the Moen Plus App to start, stop and pause remotely, so you can start your shower from anywhere in the home. The warm-up and pause feature saves water by holding the shower until you are ready.

  • Screen colors show progress

    As the water temperature changes, the screen moves through blue, purple, orange and red while the system warms up or cools down. When the shower is ready, the screen turns white and a tone sounds.

  • Fit and compatibility

    This controller is made for a shower and needs the Smart Shower two-outlet thermostatic digital valve, sold separately. The two-outlet controller connects two shower fixtures, such as a showerhead and a hand shower.

  • Installation

    Mounting is on the wall, and the steps cover both front-of-wall plumbing and behind-the-wall plumbing. The controller measures 3.38″ H X 8.69″ W X 0.63″ D, so it sits close against the wall.

  • Materials and finish

    The Matte Black finish gives the controller a dark, flat look on the shower wall. The material is plastic and acrylic, and the whole unit weighs 1.3 lb.

  • What ships

    One piece ships in the box: the controller. The valve is sold separately and is not included. An optional Moen battery backup kit, item number 179573, keeps the shower working if power is lost.
