The Moen Doux M-CORE 3-Series 1-Handle Valve Trim Kit comes in Matte Black, a dark, flat finish for a single-handle shower. It is the trim side of an M-CORE shower system, which is built around matching mixing and transfer trim.

Used with an M-CORE valve, it gives pressure-balancing capability designed to control temperature fluctuations when water pressure changes in the home, plus volume control to adjust the flow of water. The trim requires M-CORE Mixing Valve U140, with preferred installation option, and the valve is not included.

  • Temperature control

    With an M-CORE valve and 3-Series trim, pressure-balancing capability is designed to control temperature fluctuations in the event of water pressure changes in the home. The trim itself uses a single handle.

  • Volume control

    The system features volume control, which lets you adjust the flow of water for greater functionality. You can set the shower to suit the moment, from a lighter flow to a fuller one.

  • Valve required

    This trim kit requires M-CORE Mixing Valve U140, with preferred installation option, to complete installation. The valve is a separate product and is not part of this kit.

  • Flexible M-CORE design

    M-CORE valves can be roughed in with the option of function and style changes that do not require removing or changing the valve. The trim is the part that sets the look of the shower.

  • Installation features

    The valve has an integrated mounting bracket that secures it directly to a brace, which streamlines installation. An integrated test cap lets installers flush and test the system without removing or installing the cartridge.

  • Matte Black finish

    The Matte Black finish gives the trim a dark, flat look, and the trim is rust resistant. The M-CORE line also offers matching mixing and transfer trim, so a shower can share one consistent look.

  • What ships and size
