• Distressed teal finish

  The case is solid and manufactured wood in an antique teal-green with rub-through along edges and moldings. The color reads deeper than a flat paint, closer to a weathered jade in most rooms.

• Assemble with two people

  Basic assembly takes about twenty minutes with the included screws. Plan on two people for the case and legs, then set the adjustable shelf before you fill it.

• Anchor it to the wall

  A tipover restraint device is included. Mount that strap to a wall stud before you load the top or the shelf, especially with children in the home, so the cabinet cannot tip forward.

• What the shelf holds

  One adjustable interior shelf sits in a 26 by 34 by 15 inch cavity. The whole piece is rated to 100 pounds, so spread books, dishes, or media gear across the shelf rather than stacking everything on the top alone.

• What fits on top

  The 38 by 18 inch top fits most TVs up to about 40 inches, or a lamp and a few trays in an entry. A rear cutout lets you route power cords when you use it as a small media console.

• Wipe and dust carefully

  Dust the wood and lattice with a soft cloth. Wipe glass with a light glass cleaner on a cloth, not sprayed directly, and dry the molded edges so water does not sit in the rub-through finish.
