This listing is a pair. Two matching silver stools ship as one set, so a bar or a raised island gets both seats from a single order. Everything else in the photographs is styling. No bar table, cushion or counter is included.

• The curved slat back

  Vertical slats curve up into a rounded top rail, a galley silhouette that reads clean from behind as well as from the front. The back stands 13.75 inches above the seat, low enough that a row of these does not block the view across a kitchen or a terrace.

• Assembly and the leveling glides

  Assembly is required and it is short. Screw in leveling glides go into the bottom of each leg, and the spec sheet says to avoid power tools, so use hand tools and take the last turn slowly. Those glides adjust, which is how you level a stool on an uneven paver.
