• Gray washed acacia

  The frame is solid acacia, a dense hardwood that handles damp air better than softwood. Ours is a cool gray wash rather than a honey teak tone, so the grain still shows but the colour sits quietly next to stone, concrete and pale decking.

• Breathable mesh sling

  There is no foam cushion. A dark gray mesh fabric wraps the seat and back, held on an internal frame, so water drains and heat does not build up under you. Spot clean with a cloth, mild soap and warm water.

• Reclines all the way flat

  The back adjusts through multiple angles for reading or talking, and the last stop is completely flat for sunbathing. No levers and no springs that seize up after a wet winter.

• Rolls on foot-end wheels

  Each lounger has small wheels at the foot so you can tip it and roll it into a new patch of sun without lifting the whole frame. Plant the head-end feet when you stop.

  Each lounger measures 31.5 inches high, 24 inches wide and 78.25 inches long. The seat sits 12 inches off the ground, lounge height rather than chair height. Leave room behind the head for the back to rake.

  Weight capacity is 300 pounds per lounger. The pair ships at about 75 pounds total. Water resistant materials help them live outside through a season; wipe spills promptly.
