• Solid eucalyptus, not veneer

  The frame is solid eucalyptus, a dense hardwood that handles rain and sun better than pine. It arrives in a warm honey brown oil finish with straight open grain and brass toned hex screws at every joint.

• The back drops completely flat

  A notched arm behind the backrest steps through several angles, from upright reading position all the way down to completely flat. You lift the back and let it settle into the notch you want. There is no lever to release.

• Two wheels, one person

  The head end rides on two wheels while the foot end stays planted on its legs. Lift the foot end a few inches and the whole 55 pound lounger rolls, so chasing the sun or clearing the deck is a one person job.
