• The weave and the frame

  Every surface you can see is hand woven resin wicker in a brown two tone strand, wrapped over a powder coated steel skeleton. The steel is what carries the weight; the wicker is what you touch. The powder coat is applied to resist rust where the frame meets damp air.

• Cushions and fabric

  The covers are a water repellent outdoor fabric over high resilience foam at 28D density, so the seat holds its shape instead of flattening after a season. Each cover unzips and comes off for washing. Water repellent is not waterproof, so bring them in rather than leaving them out in a downpour.

• How it sits

  The seat measures 22 inches side to side and 24 inches front to back, and the cushion adds 4 inches over a 14 inch seat deck. Arms land at 25 inches. The back curves up high enough to support your head and neck, which is the point of the tall back.
