• Flat panel, narrow wings

  The headboard is one flat, rectangular panel rather than a tufted or channeled face, with a narrow wing post standing at each side. Ivory canvas covers the whole thing in a visibly woven, slightly nubby texture rather than a smooth or shiny finish, and the same canvas continues down the low base to the floor.

• Two-person assembly at home

  This bed ships flat and needs assembly, with the headboard panel large enough that a second set of hands makes the job easier and safer. The frame goes together with standard hardware and hand tools, and the slat kit locks into the rails last, right before the mattress goes on.

• Slats included, no box spring

  A wood slat kit is included with the frame and carries the mattress on its own, so a box spring is not required here. Center support legs stand underneath the middle of the frame to keep the slats from flexing, and the same setup is compatible with an adjustable base if you use one instead of a flat mattress.

• Queen or California King

  This wingback frame comes in two sizes only, Queen or California King, both built with the same rectangular headboard and wing posts just scaled to the wider mattress. There is no Twin, Full, or standard King option here, so confirm your mattress matches one of these two exact sizes before you order.

  Overall height runs 52.3 inches from the floor to the top of the headboard, so this reads as a tall, upright panel rather than a low profile look. The base stays upholstered clear to the floor with barely any leg showing, so there is little to no clearance under the bed. Keep the headboard away from a window or a sloped ceiling given how tall it stands.

  Ivory canvas upholsters the headboard and the low base in one solid, woven texture. Underneath, the frame combines metal with manufactured wood rather than upholstered wood alone, giving the center legs and rails a stiffer backbone under the fabric.

  Both sizes carry the same weight capacity, 1,000 pounds, so the Queen gives up nothing to the larger California King. That figure covers the mattress and sleepers together, not extra weight stacked on top, and the center support legs are part of what gets the frame to that number.

• Care for the canvas

  Vacuum the canvas on a low, brush free setting to lift dust from the weave without wearing the fibers thin. Blot any spill right away instead of rubbing it in, and spot clean marks with a mild, water based cleaner and a soft cloth, keeping steam cleaners and heavy soaking off the fabric.

• What ships with the frame

  The headboard, wing posts, rails, center support legs, and the wood slat kit all ship together with the assembly hardware included, so a box spring is the one thing you do not need to add. The mattress and bedding shown in photos are not included and are sold on their own.
