• Vertical channel tufting

  Slim vertical channels run edge to edge across a tall gray velvet headboard, giving this platform bed a tailored, modern look. The same low profile continues around the frame on open legs, with no footboard blocking the way, so stepping into bed stays easy from either side.

• Assembly and joinery

  This bed ships unassembled and goes together with butt and cam bolt joinery over kiln-dried wood, standard hardware for quality flat-pack furniture. The headboard height is set by the screw position you choose during assembly, so decide on a setting before you tighten the final screws.

• How the mattress is supported

  A slat system spans the frame and carries the mattress on its own, so there is no box spring to buy or store. Three center support legs run along the middle of the platform for added stability, and the slats sit about 5 to 6 inches apart across the frame.

• Full and King mattress fit

  This frame is built for Full and King mattresses, so check your mattress size against the frame before you order. It works with most standard mattress types, spring, memory foam, latex, or hybrid, as long as the mattress is at least 10 inches thick, and no bed riser is required underneath.

• Headboard height and clearance

  The headboard has two fixed settings, chosen by screw position when the bed is assembled, for an overall bed height of 47 inches on the low setting or 51 inches on the high setting. Floor clearance runs about 7.9 inches under the rail, and the headboard panel itself stands 23.6 inches tall.

• Frame and upholstery

  The frame and slats are built from manufactured wood, kiln dried before assembly, with a fully finished back so the headboard looks clean from behind as well as the front. Gray velvet upholstery wraps the headboard and the low side rails in the same soft, uniform texture.

• Weight capacity

  Both Full and King are rated to hold 800 pounds across mattress, bedding, and sleepers combined. The manufactured wood frame and the three center support legs share that load, so the weight capacity holds steady even with two people and a full mattress on top.

• Caring for the velvet

  Run a vacuum brush attachment over the velvet every so often to lift dust before it settles into the channel seams. Blot any spill right away with a clean, dry cloth, spot clean with mild soap and water, and let the fabric air dry before you dress the bed again.

• What ships in the box

  This bed arrives as the headboard and the frame with its slat system, ready to assemble with the included hardware, and no bed riser is needed underneath. The mattress itself is not included, so plan to order a Full or King mattress that is at least 10 inches thick.
