The fixture holds five bulbs inside a 24-inch rope drum. Light comes through the wrap as a warm wash, so the room reads lit without a cluster of bare lamps in view.

• Rope-wrapped drum silhouette

  A round drum shade, 24 inches across, is hand wrapped edge to edge in natural rope over an open steel frame. The frame and canopy carry a brass finish that shows through the gaps in the weave, so the fixture reads as warm metal and cord rather than a solid shade.

• Warm, diffused light

  Light escapes through the open weave on all sides as well as straight down from the five exposed bulbs, so the room gets a soft, warm wash rather than a single hard beam. It suits a dining table or entry where you want ambient light, not a reading light aimed at one spot.

• Hardwired to a junction box

  This is a hardwired semi-flush fixture, not a plug-in lamp, so it wires into a ceiling junction box rather than a wall outlet. Have an electrician make the connections, then the short rod and canopy hold the rope drum close to the ceiling to finish the mount.

• Overall height and drop

  Overall height from the ceiling to the bottom of the drum is 8 inches, with the canopy adding under an inch and measuring about 7 inches across. It hangs on a short rod rather than a chain, so the whole fixture stays low and flush, which works well over a table in a room with limited ceiling clearance.

• Standard A19 bulbs

  Each of the five sockets takes a standard E26 medium-base bulb, sized A19, up to 60 watts. Bulbs are not included. This fixture is dimmable, but that takes both a dimmable bulb and a compatible dimmer switch, and neither one ships in the box.

• Dry rated, indoor only

  This fixture is rated for dry locations only, which covers indoor rooms that stay dry year round. It is not damp or wet rated, so keep it out of a bathroom, a shower area, or an uncovered porch where moisture or rain could reach it.

• Everyday cleaning and care

  Dust the woven rope and the brass-finished frame with a dry, soft cloth or a soft-bristle brush to keep the weave from collecting dust. Skip water and household cleaners on the rope, since soaking or scrubbing it can loosen the wrap; dust the exposed bulbs gently whenever you change one.

• What ships in the box

  This fixture arrives fully assembled: the rope-wrapped drum, brass-finished frame, canopy, and mounting rod are already in place and ready to wire in. Bulbs are not included, so plan on five E26 A19 bulbs, and add a dimmer switch and dimmable bulbs separately if you want the fixture to dim.
