The fixture holds 15 E12 candelabra bulbs across five crystal tiers, 31.5 inches wide. Light comes through the K9 crystal as a scattered wash, so the room reads lit without a cluster of bare lamps in view.

• Five tiers, stepped narrow

  Long crystal rods hang in five tiers from a matte black ring, each level narrower than the one above it until the fixture tapers to a small cluster at the bottom. The straight-cut rods catch light along their length rather than as round drops.

• Scattered sparkle, not one beam

  Fifteen bulbs sit behind the layered crystal, so light scatters through the rods and breaks into small points across the whole tiered shape instead of one bright center. Under a tall ceiling the stacked tiers keep catching light as you move around the room.

• Hardwired, with a sloped adapter

  This chandelier is hardwired into a ceiling junction box, so it needs an electrician rather than an outlet. A sloped-ceiling adapter ships in the box for angled ceilings, and assembly is required, with two people suggested given the fixture's width and weight.

• Chain sets the hang height

  It hangs from a 31.5-inch chain, not a fixed rod, so overall height can reach 62.2 inches from ceiling to the lowest crystal tier. That suits a standard dining room ceiling better than a two-story foyer, so measure before you order.

• Candelabra bulbs, not included

  Each of the fifteen sockets is an E12 candelabra base rated up to 40 watts, and bulbs are not included, so budget for fifteen before you install it. The crystal diffuses the bulbs enough that plain candelabra bulbs work fine. Dimming needs a dimmable bulb in every socket plus a separate dimmer switch, both bought on their own.

• Dry-rated, not wet-rated

  This fixture carries a dry-location rating and a UL listing, which covers a dining room, living room, or foyer that stays dry. A dry rating is not a damp or wet rating, so keep it off a covered porch or anywhere steam or rain could reach the crystal and wiring.

• Dust tier by tier

  Dust the crystal rods and the black frame with a dry cloth or a soft brush, working tier by tier so you do not miss the rods hidden behind the ones in front. Skip glass cleaner sprayed directly on the fixture, and let the bulbs cool before you dust close to a socket.

• Ships as parts, no bulbs

  The frame, all five tiers of crystal, the chain, canopy, and a sloped-ceiling adapter arrive ready to assemble, a two-person job given the width. Bulbs are not included, and neither is a dimmer switch if you want the fixture on one. Plan on an electrician for the hardwired connection.
