Blot spills right away with a clean cloth rather than rubbing them in, since the polypropylene fiber is stain resistant and lifts most marks with water. Fray resistant edges mean normal wear will not loosen the binding.

The latex backing means it settles flatter, faster than a rug with no backing at all, but still weight the corners for the first few days after it arrives.
