• A tone-on-tone diamond field

  A diamond lattice fills the center in the same ivory as the ground, so the pattern shows as texture and shifting light rather than a second color. Nothing competes with the room's other tones.

• A textured woven border

  A wider floral band frames the outer edge in a deeper texture than the field, giving the rug a clear, readable outline even though the whole piece stays in one pale color family.

• Vacuum, blot, spot clean

  Vacuum regularly to keep the textured pile free of grit. The fiber is stain resistant, so blot a fresh spill with a clean cloth and most marks lift before they set. Spot clean rather than scrubbing, and call a professional cleaner for anything that does not come up on its own.

• Woven polyester, low pile

  This rug is polyester, woven with a raised diamond pattern in the field and a deeper textured border, rather than a flat printed surface. The pile stays low enough to sit flat under a sofa or table leg without the pattern getting lost.

  Three rectangle sizes run from 9 feet 2 inches by 12 feet up through 10 by 14 to 12 by 15 for a larger room. Measure the floor area first and choose whichever size fits it, since each is a fixed footprint rather than a range that can be trimmed.
