Grevane Malaclete Metal Slatted Headboard

Open black rails give this steel headboard a light, graphic presence. Rounded corners and detailed castings soften the straight lines for an airy bedroom focal point.

The open frame keeps the wall and bedding visible instead of creating a solid block behind the pillows. Rounded outer posts, straight rails, sloping transitions, and small cast details give the black headboard a classic outline with a lighter feel.

• Made from steel

The structure is carbon steel, finished in textured black. Widely spaced bars create the slatted look, while the finished back and legs keep the piece visually complete from the room side. The finish shifts gently with the light.

• Height and depth

Overall height is 52″, with 29″ legs and a 1.5″ overall depth. Use those figures when planning the wall space, checking ceiling clearance, and seeing how far the headboard will project behind the bed.

• Choose the matching size

Select the Queen or King headboard size that matches the mattress and separate bed frame you plan to use. Before ordering, compare the frame’s mounting points and outside width with your room plan. This piece is frame mounted, so fit depends on the frame beneath it.

• The frame supports the mattress

This listing is for a headboard, not the mattress support system. The separate bed frame carries the mattress and bedding. Keep using that frame’s own support guidance, whether it calls for slats, a foundation, or an adjustable base.

• Weight belongs to the frame

The headboard attaches to a separate frame and is the visual and mounting component rather than the sleeping surface. Use the bed frame’s own weight and load guidance for the mattress and sleepers.

• Assembly, mostly prepared

Assembly is required at home, but the headboard ships mostly assembled to reduce the final setup. Mounting hardware is included, so have the separate frame ready and follow its mounting points when you attach the headboard.

• Care for the finish

Dust the steel bars and cast details with a soft, dry cloth. Wipe gently rather than scrubbing, and keep abrasive cleaners away from the textured black finish so the surface stays even. Check the attachment points from time to time as part of normal use.

• What arrives

The shipment includes the headboard and mounting hardware. Mattress, bedding, and separate bed frame are not included.

• Plan for a 52″ overall height and 1.5″ depth behind the bed.
