Grevane Scatness Solid Wood Platform Bed

Solid pine, a fan-shaped camelback headboard, and a softly weathered finish give this platform bed farmhouse presence, while the wavy footboard adds a handcrafted note.

The fan-shaped camelback headboard rises above horizontal wood panels, while the wavy footboard echoes its curves at the foot. The frame uses solid pine with solid and manufactured wood construction, and distressed texture plus a central ornament add weathered farmhouse character.

• Assembly with tools included

Assembly is required at home, and the manual is designed to keep installation straightforward. The hardware and all tools are included, so you can connect the headboard, footboard, frame pieces, support feet, and slat kit without sourcing extra equipment.

• Care for the finish

Dust the wood with a soft, dry cloth and wipe spills promptly rather than letting moisture sit on the finish. Use a gentle cloth for the textured surface and avoid harsh cleaners that could change the weathered appearance.

• Height and open clearance

The assembled bed stands 52 inches high overall, with 7.3 inches of clearance from the floor to the bottom. That open space keeps the frame from feeling closed in and gives you a clear measure to compare with the room, baseboards, and underbed storage.

• Solid pine and wood slats

The frame uses solid pine with solid and manufactured wood construction, finished with a rough, natural-looking texture. The slat system is solid wood, so the weathered character continues from the camelback headboard and wavy footboard into the mattress support.

• Queen or King fit

Choose Queen for a 63.7 inch wide by 85.9 inch long frame, or King for a 79.6 inch wide by 85.9 inch long frame. Both sizes use the same 52 inch overall height, so the room footprint is the main difference.

• Twelve slats support

Each size uses 12 solid wood slats, and the platform design lets the mattress rest directly on the frame. The bed is built for spring, memory foam, blended, foam, and latex mattresses, with no box spring required underneath.

• Rated for 800 pounds

Weight capacity is 800 pounds in both Queen and King. Queen uses six support feet, while King uses ten, adding center support beneath the slat system. Capacity includes the mattress, bedding, and sleepers using the bed as intended.

• What arrives in boxes

The shipment includes the headboard and slat kit, with the footboard, support feet, hardware, and all assembly tools included for the build. It arrives in multiple boxes, so plan for more than one package when delivery begins.
