• A flat panel, rolled edge

  The headboard stays flat and plain across the face, no tufting or channel lines, with its outer edges rolled into a smooth curve where each wing turns. A matching footboard in the same warm, textured fabric closes the foot of the frame, giving the whole bed one continuous line.

• Assembly, basic tools

  Assembly is required, and additional tools are needed, so confirm what you need before ordering. Build the frame in the room where it will stay, before the mattress arrives.

• No slats, box spring required

  This bed ships without a slat kit, and a box spring is required underneath the mattress, unlike a platform design that needs neither. Center support legs run beneath the mattress area for stability, but they support a box spring and mattress together, not a mattress alone.

• Twin through California King

  Five sizes span the range: Twin, Full, Queen, King and California King. Twin measures 44 inches wide and 80 long; at the other end, California King runs 77 inches wide and 89 long. Full, Queen and King sit between those two, each stepping up in width as the mattress size grows.

• 55 inches, every size

  Every size of this bed stands the same 55 inches tall, so the headboard height never changes even as the footprint grows from Twin to California King. Underbed clearance is 4 inches, and the frame sits low and close to the floor on short block legs, closer to a platform look than a tall four poster.

• Spot clean only

  This upholstery is spot clean only, a step more careful than a wipe down with a dry cloth. Treat a mark right away with a fabric safe cleaner and a light touch, test it on a hidden patch first, and skip soaking the fabric or scrubbing it hard.

• What ships, and what doesn't

  The box includes the headboard, the matching footboard and the frame with its center support legs, plus what hardware is needed to bolt them together. No slat kit ships with this bed, and neither the box spring nor the mattress is included, so budget for both separately.
