The fixture holds six E12 sockets on thin metal arms that radiate from a center hub, 42 inches across. Light sits at the ends as candle lamps, so the spread is wide rather than bunched in the middle.

• Open arms, no shades

  Six slender bisque white arms cross near a center hub and fan out to candle style sockets with the bulb left bare, no shade or drum anywhere on the fixture. The arms sit at two different heights, so it reads open and layered rather than flat.

• The light it throws

  With the bulbs fully exposed, this fixture throws direct point light in six directions rather than a soft wash, so expect visible pinpoints of light and shadow along the arms instead of an even glow. It reads bright and architectural over a table, not ambient.

• E12 candle bulbs, not included

  Each of the six sockets takes an E12 candelabra base bulb in a T6 candle shape, 60 watts max, and none ship with the fixture. It is dimmable, but only with a dimmable bulb installed and the circuit wired to a separate dimmer switch, both sold on their own.

• Dusting the open arms

  Wipe the metal arms and sockets with a soft, dry cloth to clear dust, since nothing covers the bulbs to keep it off. Skip household glass cleaner or polish on the bisque white finish, and dust the exposed bulb bases when you change a bulb.

• A very long adjustable chain

  It hangs from 120 inches of chain at a round canopy, not a fixed rod, so an installer can trim it to fit anything from a standard room to a tall stairwell, up to 145 inches overall. The canopy is sloped-ceiling compatible too.

• Hardwired to a junction box

  This is a hardwired fixture, not a plug in lamp, so it wires into a ceiling junction box and needs an electrician to make the connections before the canopy covers them. It mounts flush to the ceiling, and the arms only swing open to their full width once the fixture is up and secured.

• Dry rated, indoor only

  This fixture is dry-rated and ETL listed for indoor use only, not damp or wet rated, so keep it in a dining room, living room, or hallway that stays dry. Skip a bathroom, covered porch, or anywhere near steam or standing water.

• What ships in the box

  The frame, arms, chain, and canopy all ship in the box, ready to hardwire and hang. Bulbs are not included, so budget for six E12 candle bulbs, and add a dimmer switch too if you want the dimming feature to actually work.
