Five candelabra-style bulbs sit exposed inside an open metal cage, so the light itself becomes the fixture instead of hiding behind a shade or drum.

• An open cage, angled posts

  A rectangular steel cage stands open on all sides, with corner posts that angle so the frame is widest at the top rail and tapers toward the base. The body measures 40 inches wide, 12 inches deep, and 20 inches tall, finished in matte black from the frame down to each candle socket.

• Five bulbs, nothing hidden

  Five candelabra bulbs stand in an open row along the base rail, fully exposed with no shade or drum around them, so the fixture reads as a run of small flames under an open frame. It suits a long island or a rectangular dining table better than a small round one.

• Hardwired to a junction box

  This is a hardwired fixture, not a plug-in lamp, so it wires directly into a ceiling junction box; have an electrician make the connection if you are not comfortable with house wiring. A sloped-ceiling adapter is included, so the same fixture mounts level on either a flat or an angled ceiling.

• Rods, chain, and hang height

  It hangs on a 48-inch rod paired with a 12-inch chain section, so you can set the drop to fit your ceiling. Overall height runs anywhere from 20 inches up to 68 inches with the rod and chain fully extended, and the rectangular canopy bar covers 20.5 inches of ceiling.

• Candelabra bulbs, not included

  Each of the five sockets takes a standard E12 candelabra-base bulb, B10 candle shape, up to 60 watts. Bulbs are not included, so plan on five before you turn it on. It is dimmable, but only with a dimmable bulb in every socket and a compatible dimmer switch, both sold separately.

• Dry rated, UL listed

  This fixture is dry-rated for indoor use only, so keep it away from a shower, an uncovered porch, or anywhere it would see direct moisture. It carries UL and cUL listing, but dry-rated is still the base tier, short of a damp or wet-location rating.

• Cleaning the black steel frame

  Dust the steel cage and each candle socket with a soft, dry cloth to keep the matte black finish from showing fingerprints. Skip household glass or metal cleaners, which can strip the matte finish, and turn off power at the switch before wiping near a bulb.

• What is in the box

  The steel cage, canopy bar, rods, chain section, and sloped-ceiling adapter all come in the box, with mounting hardware included and ready to wire to your junction box. Bulbs are not included, so plan on five E12 candelabra bulbs, and a dimmer switch if you want it to dim.
