• Hang it your height

  It hangs from a chain, not a fixed rod. Ninety-six inches of chain ship with it, and overall height can reach 147 inches, so you can set the hang over a table or in a taller foyer without buying extra hardware.

• Dry-rated fixture

  The black metal hardware is dry-rated for indoor rooms. It is hardwired at 110 volts and is not a damp or wet fixture, so keep it out of baths with shower spray and skip uncovered outdoor mounts.

• E12 candelabra bulbs

  Each socket is an E12 candelabra base for a candle-shape bulb, 40 watts max. Bulbs are not in the box. Put dimmable lamps in it if you want the fixture on a dimmer or smart controller.

• Hardwired ceiling box

  This is a hardwired fixture, not a plug-in, so it wires into a ceiling junction box behind the round canopy. Plan on two people and a ladder for the hang; have an electrician make the connections if you are not comfortable working in a junction box.

• Dimming takes two parts

  The fixture is listed as dimmable when you pair it with a compatible dimmer and dimmable E12 lamps. Neither the dimmer nor the bulbs come with it. On a plain switch it simply runs at full brightness.

• What comes in the box

  The two-tier frame with black metal hardware, round canopy, chain, and mounting hardware are included. Twenty E12 bulbs are not included, so order candle-shape lamps before install day.

• Woodgrain finish care

  Dust the light woodgrain rings and black candle sleeves with a soft dry cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners and water sprays on the woodgrain finish, since they can leave marks that will not wipe evenly.
