• Two stools, sold together

  This listing is a pair. Two matching black ladder-back bar stools ship as one set, so a high outdoor counter gets both seats from one order. Everything else in the photographs is styling. No bar table or cushion is included.

• Ladder back and slat seat

  Each stool has a square slatted seat and a matching ladder back with horizontal rungs. Four straight legs carry a footrest bar on all sides, so your feet land whichever way you turn on the stool.

• No assembly, stackable

  No assembly is required. The stools arrive fully put together and ready to place. They are also stackable, so you can nest the pair when the season ends or when you need the floor clear.

• Bar height seat fit

  Seat height is 29.5 inches from the floor, which is bar height rather than counter height. Measure from your floor to the underside of the bar top before you order. A standard kitchen island wants a shorter stool.

• Weight capacity

  Each stool is rated to hold 300 pounds of static weight. The pair is light enough to lift by the seat, at about 13.6 pounds listed overall, so moving one stool across the terrace is a one-hand job.

• Plastic resin outdoors

  Frame, seat and legs are moulded plastic resin in solid black. The material is water, UV, rust and stain resistant, and the finish is rated for outdoor use. There is no wood grain and no metal to rust.

• Seat and footrest comfort

  The seat is 14 inches wide by 16 inches deep, with a flat slatted top that drains after rain. The ladder back gives a firm place to lean without a thick cushion. The footrest keeps your legs from dangling at bar height.

• Care and off-season

  Hose the stools down and spot clean with water. Do not use bleach or harsh chemical cleaners. For winter, stack them dry and store them under cover. The plastic takes sun and rain; standing water all season is still a bad idea.

• What ships

  Two matching black bar stools. Not included: a bar table, cushions, a cover or any hardware. The limited warranty runs two years and also covers commercial use. Contract grade is listed on the product.
