King is the only size, and 82.5 inches of it runs straight across the wall. Set it against the longest wall in the primary suite and the room reorganizes around it. The wingback headboard climbs to 41 inches, tall enough to sit up against with a book, and the frame reaches 85.5 inches into the room.

Canvas upholstery wraps a metal frame carried by four center support legs, rated to 1,000 lb. The slat kit ships with the headboard, so no box spring is needed, and every tool for the build is in the carton.

• A wingback shape, kept plain

  The headboard rises tall and flat, with narrow wings that turn in gently at each side and a thin piped edge along the top. There is no tufting and no channels, just a smooth ivory canvas pulled tight over the frame, so the shape carries the whole design.

• Assembly happens at home

  This bed does not ship assembled. The headboard, frame rails, and legs go together at home using the hardware included in the box, and a screwdriver handles the whole assembly. Rest the plywood slats across the frame and center support legs last, then set the mattress on top.

• Care is light upkeep

  Vacuum the canvas upholstery now and then with a soft brush attachment so dust does not work into the weave, and blot any spill right away with a clean, slightly damp cloth rather than rubbing it in. Spot clean marks with mild soap and water, and keep the fabric out of direct sun so the ivory tone does not fade unevenly.

• Low frame, tall headboard

  Underbed clearance is 5 inches: enough to slide flat storage boxes underneath, but too low for a robot vacuum to pass, so plan to sweep under it by hand. The headboard is the tall part of this bed and reaches 54 inches from the floor, so measure the wall space above your current headboard before you swap frames.

• Fabric over a metal frame

  The exterior is fully wrapped in an ivory textured canvas, pulled smooth with no seams across the face of the headboard. Underneath that upholstery the frame itself is metal, finished at the legs in a dark tone that reads more like stained wood from across the room than the steel it actually is.

• Built in king only

  This frame is made in one size, king, so there is nothing to choose beyond that. If you already own a king mattress, it fits directly onto the included slat kit. A queen or a full mattress will not center correctly on this frame, so measure your mattress before you order.

• No box spring needed

  A plywood slat kit is included and set in place during assembly, so the mattress rests directly on the slats with no box spring or separate foundation to buy. Center support legs sit under the middle of the frame to keep those slats from sagging under a king size mattress.

• What the frame can hold

  The frame and slat kit together are rated to hold 1,000 pounds of combined weight, which covers the mattress, the bedding, and whoever is sitting or sleeping on it. That rating depends on the center support legs sitting flat and level, so check them again after assembly and every few months after that.

• What actually ships with it

  The bed frame, the upholstered headboard, and the plywood slat kit all ship together in the box, so mattress support is not something you buy separately. A mattress is not included, and neither is bedding, so budget for those on top of the frame itself.
