Grevane Doune Solid Wood Platform Bed

Natural oak grain, a rectangular slat headboard, and fluted posts shape this platform bed. Choose Queen or King and place the mattress on the included slat kit.

Natural oak grain runs across the rectangular headboard and matching footboard, while fluted outer posts add a quiet vertical detail. The finished back keeps the headboard presentable from either side, so the bed can sit where the room needs it.

• Assembly, made clear

Assembly is required at home. A screwdriver is the additional tool listed for setup, and the frame arrives as the headboard, slat kit, and supporting pieces that fasten together before the mattress goes on.

• Simple wood care

For everyday upkeep, use a soft, dry cloth on the wood grain and keep moisture away from the joints. Wipe small marks promptly and avoid abrasive pads across the headboard, rails, and footboard.

• A strong vertical profile

The headboard rises well above the low platform, giving the bed a strong vertical centerline. Leave room for its height beneath art or a window, and measure the wall area before assembly so the finished profile has breathing room below the ceiling.

• Oak and engineered wood

The frame combines solid oak and engineered wood with natural grain variation across the visible panels. A wood-and-shiplap pattern gives the headboard texture, while the finished back and fluted posts carry the same warm wood character around the frame.

• Queen or King fit

Choose Queen or King to match your mattress size. The platform is offered in those two standard bed sizes, with a wider King footprint and the same front-to-back length shown for both. Confirm the mattress label before ordering so the frame and bedding align.

• Slats support directly

The included foundation is a 14-slat solid-wood kit supported by 12 center support legs. The platform holds the mattress directly, so no box spring is required. Set the slats in place during assembly before adding bedding.

• Capacity for the setup

The bed is rated for up to 800 pounds, covering the mattress, bedding, and sleepers together. The solid-oak and engineered-wood frame, slat kit, and center supports work as one platform, so keep the stated capacity in mind when choosing a mattress and bedding.

• What arrives

Your delivery includes the headboard and slat kit, along with the frame pieces needed for assembly. The mattress and bedding shown in the room photos are not included. A screwdriver is the additional tool listed for setup, so have one ready before you begin.

Good to know

• Queen: 63″ W × 85.04″ L. King: 79″ W × 85.04″ L.
• 46″ overall headboard height in both sizes. Check wall space beneath art or a window.
• A low platform profile keeps the frame visually grounded; plan floor space around it.
