Grevane Burra Wingback Drawer Storage Bed

A wingback bed with its own light switch. The Burra wraps a channel-tufted headboard in cream velvet and runs a plug-in LED strip along its top edge, so the room glows before a lamp does. Two drawers slide out from the base on wire baskets, holding what a nightstand can't.

Under the velvet, a manufactured wood, metal and MDF frame carries the weight: 700 lb. on Full, 800 lb. on Queen, 900 lb. on King. The slat kit ships in the carton, so no box spring is needed underneath.

• Arched wingback velvet headboard

  A tall wingback headboard curves in nested arcs from the center outward, upholstered in cream velvet and edged on each wing with a slim metallic trim strip that houses a plug in LED light. Two velvet fronted drawers sit on rollers at the foot of the bed, and the base stays low and flat everywhere else.

• Straightforward hardware assembly

  The headboard, base and drawer units arrive as separate sections and go together with the included hardware and basic tools. The wood slats drop in afterward, and the drawers are pre-assembled on their rollers, so there is no separate drawer building once the frame is up.

• No box spring needed

  The bed ships with manufactured wood slats included, so the mattress rests directly on top with no box spring required. Additional support legs run underneath the frame between the drawers, keeping the deck level and stable even with the full weight of a mattress and sleepers.

• Fits full queen and king

  This bed comes in Full, Queen and King, each frame built to match that mattress size, so confirm what you sleep on now before ordering. The height and drawer position are the same across sizes, but the frame itself is cut specifically for the mattress it fits.

• Foot end storage drawers

  Two velvet fronted drawers sit at the foot of the bed on rollers, each about 29.5 inches wide and 19.7 inches deep, room enough for off season clothing or linens. They roll out toward the foot rather than the side, so they open fully even with the bed pushed against a wall; leave clearance at the foot for the drawers to extend, and clearance above the headboard for tall wings.

• Cream velvet metal frame

  The frame combines manufactured wood, metal and MDF panels under a full wrap of cream velvet upholstery, with a slim metallic trim tracing each wing. The headboard itself is filled with a soft foam pad for a plush, cushioned feel with good rebound rather than a stiff, flat surface behind the pillows.

• Weight capacity by size

  The frame is rated to hold 700 pounds on Full, 800 on Queen and 900 on King, with the added support legs between the drawers helping carry that load evenly. That capacity is for the mattress, bedding and sleepers together, not the frame by itself.

• Wipe clean led safety

  Wipe the velvet down with a dry cloth or a soft brush in the direction of the nap, and spot clean any marks rather than soaking the fabric. Vacuum the tufted seams occasionally to keep dust out, and unplug the LED strip at the headboard whenever it is not in use.

• What ships with the frame

  The headboard, base, drawer units on their rollers and the full set of manufactured wood slats are included and arrive ready to assemble, along with the plug in LED strip. The mattress, bedding and pillows shown in photos are not included and are sold separately.
